People Caring For People

What We Do

People Caring For People (PCFP) works where there is need in central Oklahoma, south Texas, and Mexico. We strive to quickly meet the needs of those who may have slipped through the cracks of other organizations.

PCFP has multiple projects throughout the Oklahoma City area. We provide medical equipment, furniture, appliances, clothing, and  baby items free of charge to those in need. We feed the homeless, and provide food to the hungry through our small food pantry

PCFP has a large warehouse in downtown Oklahoma City which holds donated items in good condition that are re-distributed to those without – at no cost. We accept donations of:

  • medical items such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, electric scooters, walkers, shower chairs, and new adult or children's diapers
  • furniture in good condition
  • working appliances
  • household and kitchen items
  • baby items such as strollers, nice toys and clothing
  • canned good for our food pantry
  • frozen foods such as hams, turkeys, bacon and lunch meats

These are given away to families we find in true and immediate need, who do not have time for the red tape required by so many organizations.

PCFP welcomes volunteers to help us serve the hungry downtown, pick up or deliver donated goods to families, or those that may have items to donate. We give our items freely with love to those in true need. We never charge or sell anything donated to us for financial gain – ALL items are given away, and our director takes NO salary. We covet your prayers as we strive to serve. If you would like to donate, please scroll to the bottom of the page.

Our History

People Caring For People was formed in 2007 by Pastor Stuart Malloy. Pastor Malloy is a hospice chaplain who saw the battle each day of those in need who live on a limited income and have nowhere to turn for help. His patients needed medical equipment, wheelchair ramps, food, and basic daily items yet were unable to have these much needed items on a limited budget. For most it was a question of medication or food, and they could not meet the need for walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs and other medical items.

A vision was given to Chaplain Malloy to form People Caring For People in order to meet those needs and more.

PCFP has grown over the past ten years to an organization that not only meets the needs of the sick and dying, but also the great need of many across the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and Mexico.

Our Mission

Making a Christian difference in the lives of others...

People Caring For People is a non profit organization which quickly addresses needs in Oklahoma that are not being met by other groups. The sick, the poor, the elderly, the hungry, the dying…these are the neglected ones in our society.

We strive to meet their simple needs with compassion, and a serving heart.PCFP has a very active group of volunteers who participate in our varied service projects. Through volunteerism, financial gifts, items donated, and prayers lifted, PCFP is able to make a Christian difference in the lives of others. No one at PCFP receives a salary, all funds donated go to serving others. If you are interested in being a part of this life-sharing organization, send us an email. We would welcome the opportunity to share with you further regarding our mission, activities, and purpose.

Frank Laubach began each day by praying..."God, what are you doing in the world today that I can help you with?" At PCFP, we do the same.
