PCFP works where there is need, which includes the greater Oklahoma City area.
Each Wednesday of the month we feed the hungry at Love Street Ministries, 220 S.W. 25th. We gather at 5:30 to prepare the meal, and following church we serve a really wonderful hot meal to anywhere from 20-30 men, women and children.
PCFP has a warehouse in downtown OKC which holds donated items that are re-distributed to those without – free. We accept donations of furniture, appliances, household kitchen items, canned good for our food pantry, and medical items such as wheelchairs, electric scooters, rollater walkers and donations of new generic meds such as acetaminophen, etc… These are given away to families we find in true and immediate need, who do not have time for the red tape required by so many organizations. We help those who have been burned out of their homes, women escaping abusive situations, the sick and elderly who have no resources to purchase food, hospice patients who have limited funds and do not meet medicare requirements for wheelchairs, scooters or walkers.
PCFP welcomes volunteers to help us serve the hungry downtown, or those that may have items to donate. We give our items freely to those in true need. We never charge or sell anything donated to us for financial gain – ALL items are given away, and our director takes NO salary.
